Raw Links to Websites & Blogs
Websites I love
Goneraw.com : This place is a powerhouse of raw recipes. Whenever I have a craving for say, Tomato Soup, I search for it..choose one of the MANY recipes they have and fiddle with it until I like what I've made and my craving is satisfied. :) (There is also a forum if you want quick, non expert advice. ;)
living-foods.com : Want to know ANYTHING about the Raw Food lifestyle? When I first started out, this is where I went. I ordered my dehydrators through this site, learned how to answer many questions, etc. It's a good place to start! GiveItToMeRaw.com : The largest (that I have found) Raw Community online. When I was first raw and needed that instant support, I was open and transparent...which eventually bit me in the behind (again...another story). I still recommend this to newbies, though. Word of caution: Anti-Christianity tends to run rampant throughout the Raw Food Movement and New Age tends to rule, so if you are a believer, stand FIRM! Rawmazing.com : This is a blog/website and I love it! I've spent hours here, reading blogs, perusing the incredible photos of delicious food and I've used/adapted quite a few of their recipes as well. Lots of fun stuff to read and assimilate as well. Love it! TheGardenDiet.com : If you are looking for inspiration, this is definitely a site to visit. A 61 year old man who has been Raw for close to 40 years, a 40 year old woman who was raw through her pregnancies, their five raw children...and there is more. Fun stuff to read. One caution: most raw sites attempt to sell you stuff. It makes sense...we all want to make our passion into our career (I doubt I'm immune to this!). |
Blogs I loveGreensmoothiesblog.com : Since Victoria Boutenko first introduced me to the Raw lifestyle, as well as incredible green smoothies, I love to read the Boutenko family's blog. She still provides me with research that I can stand on.
RawOn10.blogspot.com : This blog is a MUST for those who think they could never afford a raw food diet. Lisa shares delicious recipes, their costs, their pictures, and keeps it all for under $10 a day! She tends to be a little more extravagant than I (I'm a 5 ingredient or less kinda girl), but I love that she measures and estimates costs...I'm a lover of frugality. KristensRaw.blogspot.com : I enjoy this blog first because she lives in Arizona, so it's fun to see her blog about the same weather/culture I am enjoying. Second, she has amazing give aways of fabulous raw products. And lastly, she's eco-friendly and a new mommy - lots of fun reads for anyone with an infant. RawGoddessHeathy.blogspot.com : While I'm not much of a sweets maker (besides my favorite simple pies), I love looking at her creations (and those she inspires). She's always starting challenges to other raw foodies to create beautiful foods...fun to watch! Rawdorable.blogspot.com : This is another less-than-practical website that I just enjoy reading and drooling over. :) Rawdorable makes Raw cupcakes which look like the real thing...and one of these days I'll try it. I just know that once I do...I'm doomed. It'll be ice cream for breakfast and cupcakes for lunch! ;) |
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree,
in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;
to you it shall be for meat.
