New Year New You Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Bok Choy
  • 2 Oranges, peeled
  • 1 Lemon, peeled
  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 3 Bananas, peeled

Blend all ingredients until smooth.  This yields 64 oz and is good for 48 hours. Enjoy!


Green Love Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 2 cups Green Grapes
  • 2 Bananas, peeled
  • 2 Kiwis, peeled
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 cup Ice

Blend all ingredients until smooth. This yields 64 ounces and is good for 48 hours. Enjoy!

Raspberry Rosemary Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, leaves removed and finely chopped
  • 2 bananas, peeled
  • 1 cup green cabbage
  • 3-4 cups water

Blend until smooth. Serve while cold, enjoy in a fancy glass. :)

A pitcher of “Cold Buster Water”  
​(A.K.A. Spicy Lemonade)

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 tbsp cayenne pepper

​Now…I usually blend this mixture in my vitamix – until it makes a smooth juice.  It’s delicious and has quite an after kick. It yields 6 cups and I drink it slowly for a meal.  If I’m not planning on making a whole pitcher, I’ll just squeeze half a lemon into a glass of water, a spoonful of honey, and crush a clove of garlic into it.  

Green Lemonade

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:​
  • 1 cup spinach, loosely packed
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 apples
  • 2-3 cups of water
  • 1 cup of ice

​Blend all ingredients well – should be like juice, not smoothie.  If still too pulpy, pour through mesh strainer. While you get incredible nutrition from the spinach, you can make regular lemonade without it.

Grapesley Juice

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 3 pears, chopped
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1-3 cups water
  •  ½ bunch parsley, chopped

​Blend all ingredients till smooth, adding more and more water until it has a juice consistency not a smoothie consistency.  What a refreshing drink!  It’s a great breakfast replacement.

ChocoFlax Milkshake

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds, ground
  • 2 tbsp cacao ( or carob powder)
  • 1/2 cup ice

​Blend all ingredients until smooth.  Let stand for a thicker milkshake, as the flax will thicken it. Garnish with berries for a fun presentation.

Beginner Green Smoothies

Ingredients:​​
  1. 1 cup spinach, 3 bananas, 2 cups water
  2. 1 cup swiss chard, 2 pears, 2 apples, 1 banana, 2 cups water
  3. 1 cup kale, ½ pineapple, 1 pear, 1 banana, 2 cups water
  4. 1 cup spinach, 2 cups blueberries, 1 cup strawberries, 2 bananas, 2 cups water
  5. 1 cup swiss chard, 2 cups melon, 1 pear, 1 banana, 2 cups water
Blend all ingredients until smooth. This yields 64 ounces and is good for 48 hours. Enjoy!

Autumn Green Smoothie

Ingredients:​
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 3 apples
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 cups water

Blend all ingredients until smooth. This yields 64 ounces and is good for 48 hours. Enjoy!
