This class is one of my most delicious classes. Coming from a chef, that holds some weight. My Nori Rolls are a bit more complicated than usual, so I don't make them very often, and the Cheezecake is a little more expensive than usual, so I don't make it very often. I am REALLY looking forward to teaching this class. In fact, perhaps you shouldn't come - then I will have more for myself!
Haley's Famous Nori Rolls
Every now and then a recipe comes along that doesn't quite fit with my mantra. I attempt to make all my recipes with 10 ingredients or less, that take 10 minutes or less to make and less than $10 to make. My Famous Nori Rolls are slightly more complicated, take a little longer than usual to make, and cost a little more than my every day recipes. The reason I still make it and still teach how to make it is simple - they are amazing! These Nori Rolls are bursting with flavor and contain so much nutrition! The amazing Nori seaweed that brings this delicious California-type roll to life is full of nutrition that you wouldn't get on a daily basis. Sea vegetables have different vitamins and minerals than their land counterparts and it's always a good idea to get both into your diet. Just one sheet of Nori has the same amount of omega-3s as two whole avocados. The omega-3s in nori help create a natural oil barrier on your skin, helping to reduce acne and dry skin, particularly helpful during these dry, heated winter months. Nori also helps reduce the body’s production of inflammatory compounds that affect how healthy the skin looks and feels.
